Online Chess Tasks
Solve chess tasks, train tactics, checks, captures, threats, and mating motifs.
Tactics training in short sessions
Chess tasks help you notice motifs that later appear in real games: forks, pins, discovered attacks, mates, and overloaded defenders.
It is better to solve fewer tasks accurately than many tasks by guessing. Before moving, check checks, captures, threats, and then calculate the opponent reply.
How to train effectively
Do not choose a move only because it looks spectacular. In a tactical task, the first move needs a concrete reason and usually limits the defender responses.
If a task was difficult, write down the motif. After a few days you can see whether the problem is mating patterns, pins, knights, or missed captures.

Connect tasks with analysis
The best tasks match your real mistakes. If game analysis shows a missed tactic, return to exercises with a similar pattern.
This creates a simple training loop: game, analysis, puzzle, then another game with a concrete goal.
